God's blessings on you as you head for Chincha. We are praying for God to use you big time in the lives of the Chinchas and that you will all come home different then you are now, to the glory of God.

Thanks for journeying with us! We are a team of 7 being sent from Hiawatha Church in South Minneapolis to the city of Chincha, Peru from Jan 13th to 23rd. Chincha was devastated by the earthquake that rocked Peru back in 2007 and we have the incredible opportunity to be a part of ongoing efforts to restore the city. Only about 25% of homes have been rebuilt today.

While there, we will be working with, learning from and serving a local church that has partnered with Food for the Hungry, a Christian humanitarian aid organization. This church is committed to serving and loving the community of Chincha to not only help meet physical needs, but spiritual needs as well. Our main focus is working to help build a community center for ministry. We are thrilled to have the chance to be a part of God's work there. We hope to share with you here pieces of our journey.:)
